Today I learned that in the mid-1800’s a few American paper mills were reported to have made paper from the linen wrappings of Egyptian mummies. Thus far I have not be able to find any info that definitively proves or disproves this but I cannot stop thinking about it.
I mean, a good mummy dealer is hard to come by…right? So bizarre…
